Mevr. Ophelia is een internationale hit en reisde al de hele wereld over. Maar nu staat ze in de kerstvakantie in ons eigen Filiaaltheater. Mevr. Ophelia ontving een Zilveren Krekel (voor meest indrukwekkende jeugdtheaterproductie) en werd in Australië genomineerd voor de prestigieuze Helpmann Award.

Miss Ophelia, based on the picture book Ophelia’s Shadow Theater by Michael Ende, is a performance full of playfulness and light, lots and lots of objects, and even more shadows. The show travelled to Dublin, Edinburgh, Malta, Belfast, New York, London, Sydney and Melbourne and is getting rave reviews.

In the Netherlands Miss Ophelia won the prestigious Zilveren Krekel (Silver Cricket) award for most impressive production. In 2014 Miss Ophelia has been nominated for a Helpmann Award: the most eminent arts award in Australia. Het Filiaal theatermakers is the first ever theatre company from the Netherlands to be nominated for this prestigious prize.

Our award-winning production Miss Ophelia is going to back in China. From october 2023 till january 2024 the production will be playing in China.
